Go to Gitpod access tokens or open Settings → Access Tokens in Gitpod Classic, click New Access Token, choose an expiration, and explicitly grant Full Access if you want it to authorize API calls. Copy the token when shown; Gitpod only displays it once.
Go to Personal access tokens, click New Token, enter a description, choose an expiration (30, 60, or 90 days), select Read-only or Read & Write, then create and copy the token immediately because it will not be shown again.
