Sequence provides software for automating and orchestrating money movement across bank accounts, rules, and transfers. Its products include a consumer/business finance automation app and a developer-focused platform for agentic money movement with permissions, limits, and audit trails.

Sign in to the Sequence app, complete the required identity verification and account setup, then go to Settings → API Keys and create a key. Sequence's API docs state keys belong to your account and carry explicit permissions; create one dedicated key per agent or integration and scope it to only the accounts/rules it needs. Revoke or rotate compromised keys from the same settings area.
In the Sequence app, go to Settings and enable Remote API access, then open Access Tokens and click Create new access token. Choose the beneficiary the token belongs to and save the secure key when shown; the help docs say it will not be visible again.
Create or edit a rule in the Sequence app and configure it to be triggered externally / via Remote API. Sequence generates an API secret for that rule; copy and store it when shown or from the rule details, because this secret is required to trigger that specific rule over the older Remote API.
