In a Google Cloud project, enable the BigQuery Reservation API and then obtain an access token using Google Cloud authentication. The easiest path for humans is to use the Google Cloud CLI: install `gcloud`, run gcloud auth application-default login or gcloud auth login, and use the resulting OAuth 2.0 credentials when calling the API.
