X-YVP-App-Key: <credential>

Create a developer account and register an app in the YouVersion Platform portal. In your app settings, set the callback URL if you will use sign-in, then copy the generated app_key / App Key. The docs state this App Key is required for API access and also serves as the OAuth client_id for sign-in flows.

First create/register an app in the YouVersion Platform portal and note its app_key as the OAuth client_id; configure your app's callback URL there. Then run the documented PKCE authorization-code flow from Sign-in APIs: send the user to https://api.youversion.com/auth/authorize, handle the callback exchange via https://api.youversion.com/auth/callback, and exchange the code at POST https://api.youversion.com/auth/token to obtain a bearer access_token (and refresh token).
