Plushcap provides developer marketing intelligence data spanning engineering blogs, developer content, YouTube metrics, Hacker News activity, and software trend analysis. It tracks companies and topics and makes that read-only data available through web docs, a public API, and an MCP server.
Plushcap exposes a read-only REST API at `https://www.plushcap.com/api/v1/` plus an OAuth- or API-key-protected streamable HTTP MCP server at `https://mcp.plushcap.com/mcp`.

Open your Plushcap account to create or copy an API key, then send it to the REST API in the X-API-Key header. For MCP clients that do not support OAuth, you can instead send the same key as Authorization: Bearer <key> when connecting to https://mcp.plushcap.com.
Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server supports OAuth Dynamic Client Registration (RFC 7591), so the client registers itself automatically — no developer-portal app, client_id, or client_secret to create.
