Webhound is a research system that runs budget-capped web investigations and returns cited reports, datasets, and related evidence trails. It is designed for users and agents to start research runs, inspect claims and sources, and manage resulting workspace artifacts.
Webhound exposes a Bearer-authenticated REST API at `https://api.webhound.ai/api/v2` and an MCP server at `https://api.webhound.ai/api/v2/mcp`; the MCP surface is owner-declared as OAuth self-onboarding, while current public setup/docs and endpoint behavior also show API-key access.

Sign in to Webhound Account and get an API key from the account page. API docs say all requests use Authorization: Bearer wh_... and keys start with wh_.
Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server supports OAuth Dynamic Client Registration (RFC 7591), so the client registers itself automatically — no developer-portal app, client_id, or client_secret to create.
