Authorization: Bearer <credential>

For Weaviate Cloud, open the Weaviate Cloud console, create or select your cluster, and copy the Administrator API Key plus the REST Endpoint URL from the cluster connection details as shown in the quickstart. For self-hosted Weaviate with RBAC/user management, create a database user and API key via the user management API or preconfigure keys in deployment settings as described in the authentication guide.

Configure Weaviate to trust your OpenID Connect provider as described in the authentication guide and the OIDC configuration guide. Then obtain an access token from your configured identity provider using one of the supported OIDC flows and send that bearer token to Weaviate. This is primarily for self-hosted/custom deployments; Weaviate Cloud is preconfigured for API key access instead.
