Visier provides workforce analytics and planning software for organizations. Its platform lets customers load, model, query, and analyze people and business data, and includes AI features such as Vee and an MCP server for external AI clients.
Visier exposes tenant-scoped public HTTP APIs on `*.api.visier.io` plus a tenant-scoped MCP server on `*.app.visier.com/visier-query-mcp`; both require authentication, and no CLI or first-party GraphQL developer surface was found.

In Visier Studio, go to Generate an API Key. The documented path is Settings > API Keys; copy the displayed key, or click Regenerate if one is not shown. Visier notes this feature may need to be enabled by support and that regenerating invalidates the previous key.
For Visier MCP, an administrator must register an OAuth 2.0 client application in Visier and obtain a client_id and client_secret for each AI agent. The setup guide points to Register a Client Application and says the agent must support OAuth 2.0 confidential clients. End users then authenticate their Visier account through the MCP-compatible client via OAuth 2.0.
Create or designate a Visier user for API access using Set Up API Access. The guide says API users must be able to sign in with a username and password; if your org uses SSO, add the API user to the bypass list so it can authenticate with local credentials. Use that username and password to request a security token from Visier's auth endpoint.
