Invent is a customer communication platform for businesses to run AI assistants across messaging channels, shared inboxes, contacts, broadcasts, knowledge, workflows, and related workspace features. In Invent, go to Settings → API Keys, click New API Key, give it a name, click Generate, and copy the token immediately because it is only shown once. The docs note that each key currently has full organization access and should be stored securely; for org-scoped calls you can often use c in /orgs/{org_id}/... to mean the key's home organization.
Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server accepts a Client ID Metadata Document (CIMD), so the client authenticates with its own hosted URL as the client_id — nothing to register.
