In your Umbraco backoffice, create an API user for your instance, then note the client_id, client_secret, and base URL used by the Management API. The Developer MCP docs state these must be provided as UMBRACO_CLIENT_ID, UMBRACO_CLIENT_SECRET, and UMBRACO_BASE_URL in a .env file. Start from the Developer MCP Server guide and the CLI Reference.
