api_key=<credential> /Authorization: Basic <credential>

Create a Transloadit account/workspace, then open the Credentials page to copy your Auth Key and Auth Secret. Signature Authentication settings are managed in Workspace Settings. Use this pair either to sign API params requests or to mint short-lived Bearer tokens via `POST /token`.

Authorization: Bearer <credential>

Mint a short-lived access token from `POST /token` using HTTP Basic Auth with your Auth Key and Auth Secret, or run npx -y @transloadit/node auth token (use --aud mcp for the hosted MCP endpoint). Tokens are valid for 6 hours and are then sent as Authorization: Bearer <access_token>.
