themoviedb.org
The Movie Database (TMDB) is an online movie and TV metadata service with information on titles, people, images, and watch providers. It also lets TMDB users manage ratings, favorites, watchlists, and custom lists tied to their accounts.
themoviedb.org exposes one documented developer surface: the TMDB v3 HTTP API at `https://api.themoviedb.org/3`, authenticated with either an API key / read access token alone or combined with TMDB user or guest session IDs for user-scoped actions.

Sign in to your TMDB account, open API settings, and complete the API registration/terms flow described in Getting Started. TMDB then provides either a v3 api_key for query-parameter auth or an API Read Access Token for Authorization: Bearer ... auth, as described in Application authentication.
Create a TMDB user session by following How do I generate a session id?. TMDB's User authentication guide says user-authenticated calls are controlled with a session_id query parameter after you create a session via the authentication endpoints.
Call Create Guest Session to mint a guest session, as described in the Guest Sessions guide. TMDB notes guest sessions have limited permissions and should be kept private.
