For HCP Terraform, sign in to HCP Terraform and create a user, team, organization, or group API token as described in API Tokens. For Terraform Enterprise, create an API token from your Terraform Enterprise deployment as described in Get an API token for HCP Terraform and Terraform Enterprise and the Terraform Enterprise API token docs linked from the MCP deployment pages. terraform login can also mint and store a user token for CLI use.
