Create or choose a Google Cloud project, enable the Google Tasks API, configure the OAuth consent screen, then create an OAuth client ID in Google Cloud Console. Google documents the process in Create access credentials and the Tasks-specific scopes in Choose Google Tasks API scopes. Request a Tasks scope such as https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks or https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks.readonly, then complete the OAuth flow to obtain a bearer access token.
