Use Google Cloud authentication to obtain an access token for Google APIs. The easiest path is to follow Authenticate for using REST or set up Application Default Credentials via Set up ADC for a local development environment. For local CLI-based access you can also authenticate with the gcloud CLI, then send the resulting OAuth 2.0 bearer token in API requests.
