Authentication

SingleStore database username and password basic discovered

Authorization: Basic <credential>

Create a database user for your SingleStore deployment. For Helios, first add a database user via Manage Database Users, then use that username and password for Data API Basic auth.

JWT signed by a key in the deployment JWKS jwt discovered

Authorization: Bearer <credential>

Configure JWT authentication for the database by setting a JWKS endpoint as described in Authenticate via JWT, then mint a JWT signed by a key listed in that JWKS. After configuring jwks_endpoint, trigger /api/v2/jwks_setup so the Data API refreshes the JWKS.
