$ gcloud auth login

Authenticate to Google Cloud for Secret Manager using one of the methods in Authenticate to Secret Manager. The easiest path for local use is to sign in with the Google Cloud CLI and let it provide credentials, or set up Application Default Credentials for your application. Secret Manager calls are then authorized with an OAuth 2.0 access token, typically sent as Authorization: Bearer <access-token>.
