Create a key under Developers → API Keys in the Samva Dashboard, as described in Authentication. Production keys start with samva_sk_live_; test keys start with samva_sk_test_. Send the key in X-API-Key for the REST API; the hosted MCP server also accepts the same key in Authorization: Bearer <key>.

Run samva login as documented in Use the CLI, then choose an organization with samva org use <slug>. In non-TTY environments, the docs note samva login --no-browser for device flow, but for automation Samva recommends using SAMVA_API_KEY instead. OAuth credentials are stored in the OS keyring.
