Sign in to Synapse. The client docs describe one-time login via the Synapse clients and storing credentials in ~/.synapseConfig or environment variables, and the REST API docs state Synapse services require an access token. For direct API use, obtain a Synapse access token by authenticating with Synapse; the OAuth/OIDC docs for app integrations are linked from Using Synapse as an OAuth Server.
