Onboard is customer onboarding software for managing projects, tasks, KPIs, and related workflow data. It provides hosted operational tooling around that data for direct API integrations and AI-assisted workflows.
Onboard exposes a token-authenticated REST API at rest.onboard.io and a hosted MCP server under /mcp that supports either the same API token or OAuth-discovered user sign-in.

Sign in to Onboard app as an admin, then open Settings → Integrations → API and create or copy an API key. Older REST docs also point to Company settings → API key. Send it in Authorization using the Token scheme for the REST API; some MCP clients accept the same key in client-specific token fields or headers.
Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server supports OAuth Dynamic Client Registration (RFC 7591), so the client registers itself automatically — no developer-portal app, client_id, or client_secret to create.
