Sign in to the Printful Developers portal using your Printful account, then in the Tokens section click Add new token. Set the token name, contact info, expiration date, access level (Account (all stores) or a single store), and select scopes. For Embedded Design Maker, create a token with the Embedded Design Maker extension enabled; the docs recommend separate development and production tokens. The docs note that scopes are fixed after creation.

The API docs describe Private tokens and public apps, Client types, Scopes, and Public App authorization; the developers login page shows Printful's OAuth authorization flow. Configure your app there and request the scopes your app needs.
