In the Primer Dashboard Developers API Keys page, generate an API key and assign the scopes needed for your integration, such as client_tokens:write, transactions:authorize, transactions:read, transactions:capture, transactions:cancel, transactions:refund, payment_instrument:read, or payment_instrument:write. The broader Authentication docs explain key management and scopes. Keep the key server-side and send it in the X-Api-Key header.
