port.io
Port is an internal developer portal platform for building and operating a software catalog, self-service actions, automations, scorecards, and related engineering workflows. It helps platform teams organize service and resource metadata and expose governed developer workflows.
Port exposes a regional REST API on api.port.io/api.us.port.io and an MCP server on mcp.port.io/mcp.us.port.io, both using Port-issued access tokens; the REST API also includes the token-minting endpoint that takes client ID and client secret.

In the Port application, open the menu and go to Credentials, then copy your clientId and clientSecret. The API docs say you can obtain them from the app's Credentials page and use them to create short-lived access tokens via POST /v1/auth/access_token.
Generate a short-lived API token from the Port application via Credentials → Generate API token, or mint it programmatically by calling POST https://api.port.io/v1/auth/access_token (EU) or the US-region equivalent with your clientId and clientSecret from the same credentials page. The docs state the token is valid for 3 hours.
