paragon.com
Paragon is an integration infrastructure platform that lets SaaS products connect to customers’ third-party apps, manage authentication, run workflows, and sync external data. It offers hosted and on-premise deployment options for embedded integrations and automation.
Paragon exposes multiple authenticated HTTP developer surfaces: core REST APIs for connected users, a proxy API, Task History API, ActionKit Tools API, and Managed Sync APIs; it also provides a JavaScript SDK package and publicly markets an MCP server, but the MCP connect endpoint/auth mechanics were not publicly documented in the pages reviewed.

Generate a Paragon Signing Key in your Paragon dashboard under Settings > SDK Setup, store the private key securely, then have your backend mint a Paragon User Token JWT for each signed-in user as described in Installing the SDK. Use that token with paragon.authenticate(PROJECT_ID, USER_TOKEN) or send it as Authorization: Bearer <Paragon User Token> to the REST APIs that operate on a connected user.
In your Paragon dashboard, open your project's Settings > API Keys, click Create API Key, give it a name, and save the key when it is shown once, as documented in Task History API. This key is project-scoped and is sent as Authorization: Bearer <Paragon API Key>.
