Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server accepts a Client ID Metadata Document (CIMD), so the client authenticates with its own hosted URL as the client_id — nothing to register.

Sign in to OpenPost, open Developer access under Settings → Personal, then create a token for the client or job. Choose the narrowest scope you need: api:read or api:write for the HTTP API, mcp:read or mcp:full for manual MCP access, or let CLI browser/device login mint a cli:full token for you. When possible, bind the token to one workspace and copy the full secret immediately; OpenPost only shows it once.
