openidconnect.googleapis.com exposes a developer-facing OpenID Connect UserInfo HTTP API that requires a Google OAuth 2.0 access token; related public JWKS for token verification is served from Google's APIs without authentication.

In Google Cloud Console credentials, create an OAuth 2.0 Client ID for your application. Configure the consent screen and authorized redirect URIs as needed, then use the issued client_id (and client_secret for confidential clients) in the Google OpenID Connect flow documented at OpenID Connect.
