To get Nuvei API credentials, use Nuvei’s developer tools / documentation portal and contact Nuvei through Contact to provision a merchant account. Nuvei then issues the merchant identifiers and secret material used in API calls: merchantId, merchantSiteId, and the secret used to calculate the request checksum referenced throughout the API and authentication docs.
Create a server-side session by calling Nuvei’s /openOrder or /getSessionToken flow with your provisioned merchant credentials, as documented in the API Reference and online payments docs. The response returns a sessionToken, which must be included in subsequent Web SDK and Simply Connect calls for that session.
