Authenticate with Google Cloud and obtain an access token using the easiest supported path: either run `gcloud auth login` for user credentials or use Application Default Credentials. The Network Services API docs state you can use your gcloud CLI credentials or ADC, and method docs require the OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform.
