monid.ai
Monid is a service that lets agents and applications discover and execute third-party data tools through a single routed interface. It brokers access to many underlying providers and meters usage under either a Monid balance or, for some run flows, x402 wallet payments.
Monid exposes a bearer-authenticated HTTP API at api.monid.ai, a remote MCP server at mcp.monid.ai, an npm-installed `monid` CLI, and a separate x402-paid run API at x402.monid.ai.

Create an account in the Monid Dashboard, then open the API key management page and create an API key. Copy it when shown — the docs say it is only shown once. For CLI use, add it with monid keys add --label main --key <your-api-key> and optionally activate it with monid keys activate --label main.
Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server supports OAuth Dynamic Client Registration (RFC 7591), so the client registers itself automatically — no developer-portal app, client_id, or client_secret to create.
Use an x402-compatible client with a wallet funded with USDC plus native gas on a supported network. Monid’s x402 flow has the client answer Monid’s HTTP 402 Payment Required challenge by signing a payment authorization, then retrying the request; later GET /v1/runs/:runId on the x402 host uses a Sign-In-With-X signature from the same wallet that paid for the run.
