Dataproc Metastore API

Authenticate with Google Cloud using gcloud auth login for a user account, then obtain an access token with gcloud auth print-access-token; or set up Application Default Credentials with gcloud auth application-default login as described in Set up Application Default Credentials. The Dataproc Metastore discovery document lists the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform OAuth scope on methods.

Create or use a Google Cloud service account and authenticate with its key using gcloud auth activate-service-account, or use service-account-based Application Default Credentials as described in Set up Application Default Credentials. Use the resulting OAuth 2.0 access token when calling Google Cloud APIs.

Create an API key in Google Cloud Console following Manage API keys. The key is sent to Google APIs as the key query parameter; Use API keys to access APIs notes that only APIs that accept API keys can use this method.
