Loops is an email platform for software companies that combines transactional, lifecycle, and marketing email. It provides contact management, events, campaigns, workflows, and email content tooling in one product.
Loops exposes a bearer-token REST API at app.loops.so, a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server at mcp.loops.so using OAuth, and a `loops` CLI that authenticates with the same API key or via `LOOPS_API_KEY`.

In the Loops app, open Settings → API and click Generate key. Give the key a descriptive name; Loops recommends separate keys for different purposes. Use the key as a bearer token in the Authorization header. For CLI use, the easiest path is loops auth login <name>, which prompts you to paste the same API key; for CI you can also set LOOPS_API_KEY.
Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server accepts a Client ID Metadata Document (CIMD), so the client authenticates with its own hosted URL as the client_id — nothing to register.
