Create or choose a Google Cloud project, enable the Cloud Life Sciences API for that project in the API Library, then authenticate using Google Cloud credentials as described in Google Cloud authentication. The easiest path for local use is to run gcloud auth application-default login or gcloud auth login; for server-to-server use, create a service account in the Google Cloud console and use its credentials with Application Default Credentials.
