Authenticate with Google Cloud using the CLI, e.g. run gcloud auth login for a user account or gcloud auth activate-service-account for a service account, then use gcloud auth print-access-token to obtain an access token. The KMS Inventory client library pages also direct you to enable the API and set up authentication in Google Cloud.
