In the Google Cloud Console Credentials page, create or select a project, enable the Knowledge Graph Search API, then click Create credentials → API key. The product's prerequisites guide links a setup flow that enables kgsearch.googleapis.com for your project, and the authorization guide says to send the key as the key query parameter.
