Infobip REST API

Sign up for an Infobip account via Sign up or log in, then open the API keys page. Infobip assigns an API key when the account is created, and you can create additional keys there. Copy the key and store it securely; the docs note you can view and copy the initial key for 2 days after account creation. Ensure the key has the scopes needed for the API or MCP server you will call.

Use your Infobip account credentials. Create an account via Sign up if needed, then authenticate API requests with your Infobip username and password using HTTP Basic auth. The docs say this is typically used when an API key is not available, such as API methods that generate API keys.

Use an MCP client that supports OAuth 2.1 and dynamic authorization server metadata discovery, then connect it to an Infobip MCP server endpoint such as https://mcp.infobip.com/sms. The client should initiate the OAuth flow automatically and redirect you to the Infobip OAuth server for authentication. If your client cannot auto-discover scopes, read {mcp-server-url}/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server for the endpoint-specific supported scopes, for example https://mcp.infobip.com/sms/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server.
