For the easiest path, sign in with the Google Cloud CLI and mint user credentials by running `gcloud auth login`. For local application credentials, you can also set up Application Default Credentials with `gcloud auth application-default login`. REST calls then use an OAuth 2.0 access token for the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform scope, as described in Authenticate for using REST.
