Highnote exposes a GraphQL API authenticated with a Highnote-issued API key over HTTP Basic auth; docs also describe SDKs and webhooks, but no separate public CLI, MCP server, or standalone REST API surface was found.

Sign in to the Highnote Dashboard (or create an account), open Developers → API Keys, click Create API Key, name it, then copy the key and store it safely; Highnote only shows it once. For API calls, base64-encode the ASCII API key and send it as the Basic auth username with no password, as described in Using the Highnote API.
