Sign in to the Shippo API Portal. Open API Configuration → Developer keys. Create a test key for development or a live key for production. Test keys begin with shippo_test_; live keys begin with shippo_live_. Copy and store the token when shown, because Shippo only displays the full token once. If you need a live token approval path, Shippo also documents requesting one via the API sales page or from the Web App/API Portal flows described in Managing Your API Tokens in Shippo.
