Create a token in Guru's API access settings at API Access. Guru docs describe two token types: a User Token (read/write, used with your email as the Basic username) and a Collection Token (read-only, used with the collection ID as the Basic username). Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server supports OAuth Dynamic Client Registration (RFC 7591), so the client registers itself automatically — no developer-portal app, client_id, or client_secret to create.
