Create Google Cloud credentials in the Google Cloud console or use Application Default Credentials as described by the Firebase CLI reference. For user-based local auth, the easiest path is firebase login; for headless environments, Firebase recommends Application Default Credentials. Use the resulting OAuth 2.0 access token as Authorization: Bearer <token> when calling Google-managed Firebase APIs.
