In the DBOS Console, register your application if needed, then open the API key settings page to create a scoped API key. The docs say API keys can be scoped by permissions and application, do not expire by default, and are supplied to apps via DBOS_CONDUCTOR_KEY or to HTTP calls as Authorization: Bearer dbos_....
