DataFast REST API

Create a website-scoped API key in Website settings → Developer. It creates a df_ key for one website. As a terminal alternative, run datafast websites apikeys create <websiteId> --name "Prod key" after authenticating the CLI. The raw key is shown once, so store it securely.

Create an account token in Account settings → API / MCP. Choose the website scope and only the permissions you need, then create and copy the dft_ token; it is shown once. The easiest CLI-assisted path is to run datafast login, which opens this page and prompts you to create/paste a token. You can also mint one from the CLI later with datafast tokens create once already authenticated.
