Databuddy is a privacy-focused developer analytics platform that combines web analytics, event tracking, feature flags, uptime monitoring, short links, and related tooling. It also provides AI-agent access to that data and configuration through an MCP server and agent-auth metadata.
Databuddy exposes a scoped REST API at `https://api.databuddy.cc/v1` plus OAuth-discoverable MCP endpoints at `https://api.databuddy.cc/v1/mcp/` and `https://api.databuddy.cc/mcp`, all authenticated with Databuddy-issued API keys.

In the Databuddy dashboard, open Organization Settings → API Keys, click Create API Key, choose the smallest scope set you need, optionally restrict it to specific websites, then copy the key and store it securely. For AI-agent onboarding, Databuddy also exposes auth.md plus protected-resource metadata at https://api.databuddy.cc/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource, but the actual credential you use is still the same scoped API key.
Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server supports OAuth Dynamic Client Registration (RFC 7591), so the client registers itself automatically — no developer-portal app, client_id, or client_secret to create.
