Sign in to Chromatic, create or open a project, then copy the secret project token from the project's Manage/Configure page. The docs say you can access it during onboarding or from your project's Manage page, and CI examples store it as CHROMATIC_PROJECT_TOKEN.

Authenticate to Chromatic from a supported client flow, such as the Visual Tests addon or an MCP client, and approve access in the Chromatic sign-in flow. The docs state the Visual Tests addon uses your personal OAuth token after you sign in to Chromatic, and the service exposes OAuth endpoints at `/authorize` and `/token`.
