Chatwoot is an open-source customer support platform for managing conversations across website chat, email, social, messaging, and other channels. It is available as a cloud service or self-hosted software and includes tools for inbox management, automation, help centers, and agent workflows.
Chatwoot exposes three REST API surfaces—Application API, Platform API, and public Client API—plus a `chatwoot` CLI; no GraphQL or MCP server surfaced in the public docs.

Sign in to your Chatwoot account, then generate a user access_token from Profile Settings / API access token. The API docs say Application APIs require a user token generated from profile settings, and the CLI login flow asks for the same token from your agent profile. Use your Chatwoot instance base URL (for example https://app.chatwoot.com) and your numeric account ID alongside it when a tool asks for them. See API introduction and CLI setup.
