Google Cloud Batch is a managed Google Cloud service for scheduling, queueing, and running batch processing jobs on Google infrastructure. It lets users submit and manage compute workloads and related job resources such as tasks and operations.
Google Cloud Batch exposes a REST API at `https://batch.googleapis.com/v1` and is also managed through the `gcloud batch` CLI; both use Google Cloud OAuth 2.0 credentials.

Create or use a Google Cloud project, enable the Batch API for that project, then obtain application default credentials or log in with the Google Cloud CLI as described in Authenticate to Batch. For CLI use, install the Google Cloud CLI and run gcloud auth login or gcloud auth application-default login; for server-to-server access, create a service account in the Google Cloud Console and use it to mint OAuth 2.0 access tokens with the appropriate Google Cloud IAM permissions for Batch.
