AuthZed provides authorization infrastructure for modern applications and develops SpiceDB, an open source permissions database inspired by Google's Zanzibar. Its products let teams model, store, and query fine-grained permissions for applications and AI systems.

Create or obtain a SpiceDB/AuthZed token for your cluster, then configure it in a Zed context with zed context set <name> <endpoint> <token> or pass it directly with --token / ZED_TOKEN. The Zed README shows example tokens and headless usage; the docs nav links to Getting Started with Authzed Cloud for managed deployments and the CLI setup page at Installing Zed.
