Mentionkit is a social listening service for tracking and reviewing mentions across platforms like Reddit, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Bluesky, Hacker News, and YouTube. It lets teams query mention data, projects, keywords, and organization usage information, and use that data in agent workflows.
Mentionkit exposes two developer surfaces on api.mentionkit.com: a bearer-token-protected REST API with an OpenAPI spec, and an OAuth-protected remote MCP server that also documents bearer-token access.

In your Mentionkit workspace, open the API key settings described in Where do I find API key and webhook settings?. Then use the key as an Authorization: Bearer <token> header for the API or MCP connection. The MCP docs also state you need a bearer token from your Mentionkit workspace.
Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server accepts a Client ID Metadata Document (CIMD), so the client authenticates with its own hosted URL as the client_id — nothing to register.
