Use an AWS account and configure credentials the normal AWS way. The easiest path for CLI users is to install the Amplify CLI and run amplify configure, which walks you through signing in to AWS, creating or selecting an IAM user/role, and storing a local AWS profile. The Amplify docs state you can also use an existing AWS profile or IAM Identity Center/role-based configuration on your machine.
