Amentum provides scientific and earth-data web services, including oceanographic, atmospheric, geomagnetic, gravity, and aviation-radiation calculations and datasets. Access is managed through its developer portal with trial and subscription-based API usage.
Amentum exposes five authenticated REST APIs (Ocean, Atmosphere, Aviation Radiation, Geomag, Gravity), each documented with public OpenAPI JSON, plus an authenticated `amentum` CLI that uses the same API key.

Create an account in the Amentum developer portal, then open Settings and generate an API key. The docs and CLI state that requests must send the key in the API-Key header; the CLI can also store it locally with amentum config set-api-key or read it from AMENTUM_API_KEY.
